Assemble fabricated parts at floor stations for production of Nacelles. Work with mechanical components using pneumatic hand tools and power tools to assemble nacelle units. Follows blueprints, guidelines and/or diagrams to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met. Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Requires a basic understanding of mechanical components and blue print reading.
Assemble controller boxes using electrical components. Use hand tools for assembly according to product specifications. Work with electrical components according to drawings and specifications. Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Requires a basic understanding of electrical components and blue print reading.
Floor production relating to all processes for 8.2M blade production. Use hand tools and power tools as required and in accordance to product specifications. Follows blueprints, guidelines and/or diagrams to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met. Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Production stations include: Mold Operations, Finishing Operations, Component Operator, Balance and Finish Assembly, KMT Robot Operator, Load and Check Blades, Cut/Validate, Measuring and Drilling, and Paint and Finish Technician. 1-3 years prior knowledge and experience preferred.
Performs wind turbine installation and commissioning. Performs operational and maintenance work on wind turbine equipment that includes preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications. Typical work duties include; torqueing, fluid changes, component replacement, hydraulic system repair, and electrical system troubleshooting. Performing these tasks within the safety of the tower, nacelle, or hub, Wind Technicians work in small teams in order to regularly service 2 to 3 wind turbines per day. Troubleshoots and repairs integrated systems, including resolving malfunctions in electronic and hydraulic systems, mechanical components, and/or instrumentation and control equipment. Collect turbine data for research or analysis. Monitors, documents, and reports turbine conditions. Must be willing to travel and not be afraid of heights. 1-3 years prior knowledge and experience preferred.
